Simple to prepare, enjoy your favorite Artisan Lettuces with these easy steps:

  1. When preparing any fresh produce, begin with clean hands. Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and warm water before and after preparation.

  2. Cut off the end of each lettuce head, then cut once more to desired size.

  3. Rinse under lukewarm water to thoroughly clean the lettuce and open the pores of the leaves, allowing it to rehydrate. Dry produce with a clean cloth towel or paper towel to further reduce bacteria that may be present and it's ready to enjoy.

  4. Artisan Lettuce should be refrigerated in its stay-fresh clamshell until ready to eat. Cut and rinse a day ahead and store in your clamshell for even quicker prep the next day! For extra crunch, crisp Artisan Lettuce in your fridge for 30 minutes before enjoying.
